Unless you like always sharping a pencil, get these. You’re not going to draw a line across osb, but for anything smoother, the .9mm lead won’t usually brake. These pencils last for years with regular use. A 2 pack of leads has lasted for years with regular 5day/wk use. Fine marks make fine cuts.

These work great for my purpose I use them to layout cuts in carpentry and industrial pipefitting. I use them for laying out cuts on pipe with a wrap around gives nice fine crisp line to do metabo cuts.
