World Centric PLA Clear Cold Cups, 9 oz, Clear, 1,000/Carton (WORCPCS9Q)
These cups are made from plant-based NatureWorks Ingeo PLA, which is actually a compostable plastic. The production of PLA emits 75% less greenhouse gases and consumes 50% less non-renewable energy than conventional plastics derived from petroleum. Although they work well with cold beverages, mostly like; coffee, tea, juice, and water, they are ideally suited to liquids that are at a maximum temperature of 120°F. These cups are freezer-safe, lightweight and strong but, depending on their makeup are fully biodegradable within 2 to 4 months in a commercial composting facility. They’re not microwavable. They are clear cups, and each cup contains 9 oz.
