The Ergodyne Squids 3190 Tape Measure Tethering Kit helps keep your tape measure secure and prevents drops. It includes a coiled cable lanyard with strong, PU-covered aircraft cable that stretches from 6.5″ to 48″ while avoiding tangles and snags. The lanyard has two stainless-steel carabiners with a locking design to reduce snap-back. The kit also comes with a Squids 3770 Tape Measure Trap, which wraps around your tape measure with adjustable hook-and-loop straps to hold it in place. Just connect the D-ring on the trap to the lanyard for a complete tethering system. This kit is third-party certified for a 2 lb max working capacity with a 2:1 safety factor. The lanyard is lime and black for high visibility.
